Stock Pavilion, Tudor Revival educational building at University of Wisconsin-Madison, US
The Stock Pavilion features steeply pitched gable roofs, decorative half-timbering, and heavy timber framing across its expansive exhibition space in Madison.
Designed by architects Warren Laird, Paul Philippe Cret, and Arthur Peabody, this agricultural venue was constructed between 1908 and 1909 for livestock exhibitions.
Presidents Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Harry Truman, and Martin Luther King Jr delivered speeches at this agricultural education center.
Located at 1675 Linden Drive on the university campus, the Stock Pavilion continues to serve as a venue for academic gatherings and public events.
The National Register of Historic Places recognized this agricultural building in 1985, followed by its State Register listing in 1989.
