Equestrian statue of William Henry Harrison, Equestrian statue in Piatt Park, Cincinnati, United States

The bronze statue stands 14 feet tall on a 13-foot Barre granite pedestal, depicting William Henry Harrison mounted on an unsaddled horse.

The monument, designed by sculptor Louis Rebisso, was initially displayed at the World's Columbian Exposition in 1892 before its permanent installation in Cincinnati in 1896.

The statue represents the ninth President of the United States, William Henry Harrison, who served various political offices in Ohio before his national leadership.

Located at 135 Garfield Place near the Elm Street entrance of Piatt Park, the statue provides educational information through surrounding plaques.

The bronze horse lacks a saddle yet maintains stirrups, creating an engineering contradiction that distinguishes this monument from other equestrian statues.
