Isaac M. Wise Temple, Reform Jewish synagogue in Cincinnati, United States.

The Isaac M. Wise Temple exhibits Byzantine and Moorish Revival architectural elements with twin towers crowned by domes and minarets at 720 Plum Street.

Construction of the synagogue began in 1865 during the Civil War, requiring an investment of 275,000 dollars before its dedication in August 1866.

The temple became a milestone for progressive Judaism when Sally Priesand received ordination there in 1972 as the first female rabbi in United States.

The temple maintains active religious services, educational programs, and community gatherings at both its downtown location and Amberley Village facility.

The synagogue stands adjacent to Saint Peter in Chains Cathedral, creating a notable religious architectural ensemble in downtown Cincinnati.
