Williams-Pratt House, Historic mansion on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo, United States.

The Williams-Pratt House is a large mansion located on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo with classical architectural details throughout. It features a prominent front portico with six Ionic columns that define its appearance.

The house was designed and built between 1896 and 1899 by the prominent architectural firm McKim, Mead & White. A fire struck the building shortly after its completion and caused significant structural damage.

The residence became GAR Memorial Hall in 1941 after the City of Buffalo acquired it, marking a transition from private residence to public institution.

The property can be accessed through gates at the entrance, and visitors will find a separate carriage house on the grounds in addition to the main building. Exploring the full site provides a sense of the residential compound as it was historically arranged.

During its residential period, the mansion hosted an Oriental Ball in 1926 that transformed its interior spaces with elaborate decorations.
