Nuratin State Nature Reserve

Nuratin State Nature Reserve is a protected area in Forish District that stretches across the Nurattau ridge with its mountain ranges and valleys. The land contains multiple ecological zones that support different animal species adapted to these varied environments.

The reserve was established in 1975 to protect endangered species including the Kyzylkum sheep. This creation reflected early efforts by Uzbekistan to safeguard its natural wildlife.
