A1 Hill rises 32 meters high and spans 82,000 square meters, featuring a network of trenches, bunkers, and military fortifications.

The hill witnessed 39 days of intense combat during the First Indochina War, culminating in its capture by Vietnamese forces on May 7th, 1954.

The site preserves military artifacts including an 18-ton tank, multiple bunkers, and French army tunnels that represent the wartime period.

Visitors can access the site for an entrance fee of 5,000 Dong and explore the preserved trenches by following a path to the right upon entry.

Vietnamese forces successfully detonated a 1000-kg explosive device under the hill, creating a massive crater that altered the battlefield landscape.
