1865 Broadway

1865 Broadway is a 33-story residential tower in the Upper West Side with a layered facade that breaks up its mass across the streetscape. The building combines retail spaces on lower levels with apartments above, creating a mixed-use structure typical of Manhattan's neighborhoods.

The site previously held a brutalist building from the 1960s that housed a major religious publisher for decades. The property was eventually sold and cleared for this modern residential tower.

The architectural design by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill incorporates elements inspired by I.M. Pei's Turtle Bay Towers, reflecting Manhattan's architectural evolution.

The tower is easily accessible from multiple streets and sits in a busy neighborhood with restaurants, shops, and transit options nearby. Its location provides convenient access to nearby parks and cultural attractions.

The structure includes 70,000 square feet of retail space spread across four floors, with two levels above ground and two subterranean levels.
