Rotary Park

Rotary Park is a 5.9-hectare urban space on a hill north of Memorial Drive that features spray pools, accessible playgrounds, and tennis courts. The grounds also include off-leash dog areas and picnic spaces distributed across the sloped terrain.

The site was established as public recreation land with the Rotary name reflecting community contributions from local service organizations. Jim Fish Ridge, named at the park's south end, honors an advocate who championed green spaces throughout the city.

The park serves as a gathering place where neighbors meet for recreation and outdoor meals during the warmer months. The open lawns and play areas encourage families to spend time together throughout the year.

The park offers seasonal washrooms, drinking fountains, and picnic tables for visitors. Street parking and additional parking south of 7th Avenue make access straightforward throughout the year.

The spray pools operate with vibration sensors that control water jets, making the features interactive while conserving water. Children can trigger the fountains through movement, creating an engaging experience that responds to their play.
