Postwagen, Historic wooden house at Market Square, Aachen, Germany.
The Postwagen consists of two connected historic houses built in wood and stone next to the eastern side of Aachen's City Hall.
Dating back to 1659, these buildings replaced earlier structures from 1394 that were severely damaged during the great city fire of 1656.
The restaurant serves traditional Aachen specialties and local beers, maintaining the gastronomic heritage of the region.
Located at Krämerstraße 2, the venue can accommodate up to 80 guests for private and business events with advance reservations.
The building remains the only preserved wooden house in Aachen's center, featuring architectural elements from the 17th century.
