Mont Miravidi

Mont Miravidi reaches 3066 meters in elevation, featuring rocky terrain on the French side and retreating glaciers on the Italian slopes.

The mountain stands as a natural boundary marker on the France-Italy border, serving as a geographical divide between Mediterranean and Adriatic waters.

Mountaineers from both French and Italian territories gather at this peak to celebrate their shared Alpine heritage through various outdoor activities.

The ascent begins at 2047 meters elevation, following a marked trail through Méchandeur valley before reaching Col des Veis at 2978 meters.

From the summit, visitors observe an extensive view spanning from Mont Blanc to Italian peaks including Matterhorn, Gran Paradiso, and Ruitor.
