The reinforced concrete frame building with brick infill stands on Westville Road, featuring large windows and modern architectural elements throughout its structure.
The current school building, completed in 1952 by architect Ernő Goldfinger, replaced a Victorian Board School from 1886 that was destroyed during World War II.
The school building contains a notable ceiling mural created by artist Gordon Cullen, which underwent restoration work in 2014 to preserve its artistic value.
Greenside Primary School accommodates 229 students aged 3 to 11, operating as an academy converter under The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust in Hammersmith.
Students at Greenside Primary School achieved performance metrics of 110 in reading and 106 in mathematics during standardized testing in the 2018-2019 academic year.
