Steel factory owner Sir John Wilson gifted this public building to Airdrie in 1912, with architectural design by James Thomson and Sons firm.
The main hall accommodates 660 guests for concerts and conferences, while the upper-level lesser hall holds 110 people for smaller community gatherings.
The facility contains a cafe serving hot meals and beverages from Monday through Saturday, alongside spaces for weddings and social events.
The 2013 renovation project integrated modern performance equipment with a raked stage, flying grids, and specialized lighting systems while preserving historical elements.
