Adlabs Imagica Deep Space, Steel roller coaster at Imagicaa, India.
Adlabs Imagica Deep Space is an indoor steel roller coaster at the Imagicaa amusement park near Mumbai, housed inside a themed building with a space exploration concept. The track includes two inversions and several curved sections, and the ride uses magnetic launch technology to accelerate riders from a standstill.
The coaster was built by Premier Rides and opened in June 2013 as one of the first attractions at Imagicaa. It was among the first rides in India to use magnetic launch technology.
The indoor coaster uses space exploration themes to create an immersive experience that appeals to visitors interested in science and adventure. The design shows how modern Indian amusement parks aim to offer entertainment on par with international attractions.
The ride takes place inside a covered building, which provides some shelter from heat or rain. Wait times can be long on weekends and public holidays, so arriving early in the day gives the best chance of a shorter queue.
The track includes a zero-g roll and a full 360-degree helix, which together create a brief sensation of weightlessness. This effect feels more pronounced because the darkness inside the building removes any visual reference points during those moments.
