Church of St. Basil of Ostrog, Serbian Orthodox parish church in Bežanijska Kosa, Serbia.

The Church of St. Basil of Ostrog is a religious building in Bežanijska Kosa with Byzantine-inspired forms and a round base plan. Side galleries and a bell tower on the western side structure the building and shape how it looks from outside.

Construction of this religious building began in 1996 and finished in 2001. It was the first church of its kind built in the area after World War II.

The name honors Saint Basil of Ostrog, a revered figure in Serbian Orthodox tradition. Inside, you can see how this religious connection shapes the artworks and frescoes that decorate the interior spaces.

The building is located at Partizanske avijacije 25 in New Belgrade and is easy to reach by public transport. Visitors should wear appropriate clothing and be aware that this is an active religious space with regular services.

The building blends traditional Orthodox design elements with modern approaches, creating a fresh interpretation of religious architecture. This makes it a rare example of how older spiritual forms can be rethought within a contemporary urban setting.
