法性寺, Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Japan
The temple stands between Kamakura and Zushi cities, near the Nagoe Pass, featuring multiple halls and stone structures on its grounds.
The temple was established in 924 by Fujiwara no Tadahira and later became an important religious center for the Fujiwara clan.
The temple contains a thousand-armed Kannon statue with three faces and 25 additional faces on its crown, designated as a National Treasure.
The temple requires advance reservations for interior visits and provides a parking area that accommodates up to six vehicles.
According to local tradition, a white monkey appeared at this location to protect Saint Nichiren from government officials.
