Nathan Bradley's residence transformed into Mercy Hospital in 1900 when Sister Mary Hilda initiated medical services through public funding of seventeen thousand dollars.
The Elizabeth McDowell Bialy Memorial House, funded with three hundred fifty thousand dollars in 1927, provided essential housing for nursing staff serving the hospital.
The complex underwent renovation in 1980 and currently operates as Bradley House, offering residential units for low-income individuals in the Bay City community.
The hospital expanded to become the largest medical facility outside Detroit by 1948, accommodating three hundred thirty-five beds across multiple building additions.
