The Belvédère Panoramique Montgenèvre-Clarée is a scenic viewpoint in Montgenèvre, a mountain village in the French Alps close to the Italian border. From the platform, the view takes in the peaks of the Chaberton and the Janus, the Clarée valley below, and the slopes that surround the village.
Montgenèvre sits on one of the oldest mountain passes between France and Italy, already used in Roman times. The viewpoint itself was set up as mountain tourism grew, giving visitors a safe and open spot to take in the landscape.
