Description

#ILoveNice is a metal sculpture standing on the Rauba Capeu esplanade, measuring about 8 meters (26 feet) wide and 3.5 meters (11.5 feet) high. The artwork consists of three colored parts that form a simple yet striking design, easily visible from the beach and nearby waterfront.

History

The sculpture was created following the tragic event of July 14, 2016, to support the city and encourage people to express their love for Nice. It later became a symbol of hope and solidarity for the community.

Culture

The sculpture represents love for the city and serves as a symbol of community connection for both residents and visitors. People use this spot to express their affection for Nice and to share moments of joy with others.

Practical

The artwork is located at Quai Rauba Capeu right by the sea, with an open view of the Baie des Anges, making it straightforward to find. The area is easily accessible on foot and works well for walks along the waterfront, with plenty of spots to stop and take photos.
