The sandy beach stretches along the Atlantic coast, bordered by limestone cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation with fig and olive trees.
The eastern cliff contains remnants of a military fortification from the 17th century that monitored maritime activities along the Portuguese coast.
The western section of the beach maintains a designated area for naturist activities, following Portuguese coastal traditions.
Visitors need to park 800 meters from the beach and walk for 10 minutes along a narrow footpath to reach the sandy shore.
