Washuzan Highland Sky Cycle, Pedal-powered aerial attraction in Kurashiki, Japan.

Washuzan Highland Sky Cycle is an attraction featuring suspended bicycles that travel along elevated tracks roughly 180 meters above ground, providing views of six bridges below. The route carries riders across the park grounds, allowing them to see the surrounding landscape from an unusual vantage point.

Brazilian Park Washuzan Highland opened in 1971 as a drive-in style park before expanding into a full entertainment complex with multiple attractions. Over the decades, the site grew and added new rides to become what it is today.

The park displays Brazilian cultural elements throughout its spaces, where visitors can watch traditional dance performances that reflect the distinctive character of the place. These performances happen regularly and shape how people experience the attraction.

The site is reachable by bus from JR Kojima Station in about five minutes, and pathways are clearly marked throughout the grounds. Comfortable shoes are helpful, and bringing sun protection is wise since much time is spent outdoors.

The appeal of the Sky Cycle lies in riders pedaling under their own power, making the experience active and physical rather than passive. This hands-on connection with the landscape creates a form of engagement that passive rides cannot offer.
