The garden houses one of Australia's oldest hedge mazes, formed with over 1,000 cypress trees that create walls several meters tall. This structure has been maintained and expanded over time, with the original layout remaining the core of the complex.

The grounds are maintained by a maze keeper who trims the hedges three times each year to keep the paths clear and structures stable. This regular care ensures visitors find the right balance between challenge and navigability.
