Espace Vertical 4, Climbing gym in Saint-Martin-d'Hères, France
The climbing facility spans 1,700 square meters and contains more than 300 routes, featuring walls with varied inclines and specialized training sections.
Three climbing instructors established Espace Vertical in 1995 to create an indoor facility where enthusiasts could practice regardless of weather conditions.
The facility fosters a climbing community where staff members, who are active climbers themselves, regularly set new routes for different skill levels.
The gym operates from Monday to Friday between 12:00 PM and 10:30 PM, while weekend hours run from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The speed climbing wall rises 10 meters high and follows International Federation of Sport Climbing standards with 24 handholds and 16 footholds.
