Plage du Petit Nice is a beach along the Atlantic coast with fine sand and direct access to the water. The shoreline opens toward the Arcachon Basin passages and allows views of the nearby islands.
The beach formed through natural sedimentation processes over time along the Atlantic coast. Layers reveal traces of earlier geological periods visible along the shoreline at low tide.
The beach area includes dedicated spaces for beach soccer, volleyball, and beach ball activities, making it a center for coastal sports.
A large parking area and picnic spaces are available to visitors. Restaurants and refreshment stands are located on-site, along with a first aid station.
Access to the beach is subject to tidal restrictions for safety during high tide swings. On days when the coefficient exceeds 75, entry is blocked for two hours before and after high tide.
