DARK MATTER

DARK MATTER is a converted industrial building in Berlin's Lichtenberg district that now houses digital art installations. Seven rooms contain works that merge light, sound, and movement into experiences visitors actively move through.

The building evolved from a factory and was converted into an art venue in 2021. This repurposing brought a new form of digital art presentation to Berlin.

The space showcases how technology shapes artistic expression today through immersive experiences. Visitors find themselves moving through rooms where light and sound respond to their presence.

Visitors get the best experience on weekends or Friday evenings when the gallery stays open late. Plan for at least two to three hours to explore all rooms at a comfortable pace.

A special feature is the three-dimensional sound system synchronized with the light installations to create coordinated multimedia shows. This technical setup transforms each room into its own sensory experience.
