New Mexico Museum of Art, Art museum at Palace Avenue, Santa Fe, United States.

The New Mexico Museum of Art is an art museum in Santa Fe housed in a Pueblo Revival-style building. Its collection spans more than 20,000 artworks including paintings, photographs, sculptures, prints, and mixed media pieces displayed across multiple galleries.

The museum opened in 1917 as New Mexico's first art institution. Architect Isaac Rapp designed the building with characteristic Pueblo Revival features that would later define Santa Fe's architectural character.

The St. Francis Auditorium within the museum hosts regular performances, concerts, and cultural events throughout the year for audiences of all kinds. These gatherings reflect the artistic and musical diversity of the region.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours until 7 PM on first Fridays. Its central location on Palace Avenue makes it easy to visit alongside other downtown Santa Fe attractions.

The building combines Pueblo architectural elements with Spanish Colonial design, making regional cultural history visible in its walls. This architectural language later became the standard for many buildings throughout Santa Fe.
