Fabrique Arnaud Soubeyran Musée du Nougat

Fabrique Arnaud Soubeyran is a nougat museum and working confectionery factory in Montélimar where visitors discover how this regional sweet is made. The exhibits show the different stages of nougat production, from raw materials to finished products, all within the actual production facility.

Founded as Montélimar's oldest nougat factory, the enterprise preserves traditional manufacturing methods from its early years. Production continues to follow the same procedures established at the beginning, showing the continuity of the craft over many decades.

The name traces back to the Arnaud and Soubeyran founding families, whose stories are shared throughout the exhibits. Visitors can observe how the family passed down its craft across generations and shaped the everyday life of the town.

The site is easy to navigate and visitors can watch production from several viewpoints without disturbing factory work. Wear comfortable shoes since you will walk through different areas and some parts of the building are older with steeper passages.

The museum features a sound installation recreating the seasonal life cycle of beehives and how honey connects to nougat production. This audio experience helps visitors understand the natural rhythms behind the confectionery industry.
