Tiny Doors ATL, Public art installation trail in Atlanta, United States.
Tiny Doors ATL is an art installation of miniature doors placed at around 30 different locations throughout Atlanta's neighborhoods and cultural centers. Each door measures approximately 7 inches (18 cm) tall and features carefully crafted details like frames, handles, and decorative elements.
The installation was founded in 2014 by artist Karen Anderson Singer to create small artistic works that connect communities through public art. The project grew from this original vision into a widespread series that brings different neighborhoods together.
Each tiny door reflects the neighborhood where it stands through local colors and design details that match the surrounding buildings. The neighborhoods show their own story and character through these small artworks.
A free map showing the locations of all the doors is available on the official website to help visitors explore the installation. The doors are wheelchair accessible and require no entrance fee.
Many of the doors feature tiny details such as small welcome mats, mini plants, and features that mimic the full-size buildings next to them. This attention to detail makes each discovery interesting and encourages visitors to look closely.
