The Thomas W. Talbot Monument consists of a bronze bust of Talbot on a pedestal of Tennessee marble, with a bronze International Association of Machinists logo and a plaque attached to the pedestal. It stands in Grant Park in a plaza near an entrance to Zoo Atlanta.

The monument was dedicated in 1948 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the International Association of Machinists founding. A commemorative plaque was added in 2013 to mark 125 years since Talbot established the machinists union in Atlanta.

The monument honors the labor movement and pays tribute to Thomas Talbot's role in establishing the machinists union in the city. The inscriptions recognize workers who fought for better working conditions and fair treatment.

The monument stands in a plaza in Grant Park, near an entrance to Zoo Atlanta.
