Dahlberg Hall, former multi-purpose hall in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, now used as Georgia State University's Alumni Hall
Dahlberg Hall is a multi-purpose building located on Georgia State University's campus in downtown Atlanta. The structure has large doors, wide windows, and tall ceilings that create an open interior space that can be arranged for lectures, university events, meetings, and various community gatherings.
The building was constructed between 1907 and 1909 as the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium, serving as a gathering place for the city. In 1979, Georgia State University purchased the property and later renamed it Dahlberg Hall in honor of an alumnus.
The hall is located at the corner of Courtland and Gilmer Streets in downtown Atlanta and is easy to find and access. The spacious interior with sturdy floors and open layout works well for different event setups and accommodates various group sizes.
The building was used as a filming location for the heist film Baby Driver, where it was transformed to look like a US Post Office. This temporary transformation caused some confusion among students who initially thought the building might have been sold.
