The building at 25 Park Place extends 115 meters into the sky with a modern facade of glass and steel across its 28 floors.
Built in 1971 as the Trust Company of Georgia headquarters, the structure later became the SunTrust Bank Building before Georgia State University acquired it in 2007.
The architecture firm Carson & Lundin designed this building to reflect the commercial growth of Atlanta during the 1970s financial district expansion.
Located directly across from Woodruff Park, the building now houses multiple departments of Georgia State University's College of Arts and Sciences.
The facade design shares architectural elements with the Landmark Building in Greenville, South Carolina, creating a visual connection between regional financial centers.
