The white Kriegshaber House stands on Moreland Avenue, featuring Victorian and Beaux-Arts architectural elements with four bedrooms and ornate detailing.
Built around 1900 for businessman Victor Hugo Kriegshaber by architect Willis F. Denny, the residence became part of the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
The structure transformed from a private residence to a Methodist church, then a dance school, before becoming the Wrecking Bar antiques store in 1970.
The mansion currently operates as the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, offering brewery tours every Saturday at 4:30 PM and serving food until 11 PM on weekdays.
Local resident Wilma Stone prevented the demolition of this structure in 1970, leading to multiple preservation efforts and a 2.1 million dollar renovation.
