The building now houses the Wrecking Bar Brewpub and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Built around 1900 for businessman Victor Hugo Kriegshaber by architect Willis F. Denny, the home reflects early 1900s prosperity and craftsmanship. It earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, recognizing its architectural and historical value.
