Montazah Park

The Montazah Park spans 46 hectares along the Alexandrian coast, featuring Ottoman and Florentine architectural elements throughout its grounds and palaces.

Khedive Abbas II established the park in 1892, creating the Salamlek Palace as a hunting lodge before King Fuad I added the Al-Haramlik Palace in 1932.

The gardens stand as a representation of Egyptian royal heritage, transforming from an exclusive monarchial retreat into a public space for both locals and visitors.

Located at the northeastern end of Alexandria, the park welcomes visitors daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with an entrance fee of 25 Egyptian pounds.

The park contains two palaces: Salamlek, which operates as a luxury hotel, and Al-Haramlik, which functions as a museum of the Muhammad Ali dynasty.
