El-Montazah Park

El-Montazah Park is a large public garden along the Mediterranean with landscaped areas, coastal paths, and open green spaces. The grounds include restaurants, cafes, bicycle rentals, and children's play areas spread throughout the property.

The park began in the early 1900s as private grounds for King Farouk before later becoming accessible to the public. This transformation made it an important leisure destination for Port Said's growing population.

The park is a gathering place for Egyptian families who come to walk, ride bicycles, or simply enjoy the sea views. On weekends and holidays, the grounds fill with people spending time outdoors and sharing meals together.

The park is easy to explore during day and evening hours, with clear pathways and areas designed for walking and cycling. There are shaded spots under trees and rest areas where visitors can take breaks, especially during warm weather.

The grounds house a collection of plant species adapted to the Mediterranean climate, plus ancient trees that have grown there for decades. These botanical features are spread across specialized zones and offer visitors a different nature experience than typical parks.
