Plage base nature

Plage Base Nature is a beach along the coastline of Fréjus with natural brown sand that stretches for about 750 meters. The bay offers views toward Saint Raphael and the Esterel mountain range.

The site grew from a former military air base that was transformed into a public recreational space. This conversion created a new destination for the community that is now known by its current name.

The beach features a large fresco by artist César Malfi that depicts local heritage through maritime and historical elements. The artwork shapes the character of this place and tells the story of the connection between sea and region.

The area provides showers, restrooms, volleyball courts, and parking spaces for many vehicles. Visitors will find everything needed for a comfortable day at the beach.

A water sports center at the location offers surfing, scuba diving, and kitesurfing opportunities. These activities make the beach a popular gathering spot for water sports enthusiasts.
