Parc Animalier Etxola, Animal park in Sare, France
The animal park spans across natural terrain and houses more than 250 animals, including buffalos, dromedaries, ornamental poultry, and four-horned sheep.
Founded in 1999, the park established itself as a center for domestic animal preservation, focusing on traditional breeds from diverse geographical origins.
The facility maintains strong connections to Basque agricultural traditions while presenting animals from international farming practices and maintaining rare domestic breeds.
Located 7 kilometers from Sare center, the park operates Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a single entry fee of 7 euros.
Visitors can interact with and pet various animals during the 45-minute walking tour, which features species like the Basque pig and Rouen duck.
