Centrum Przyrodniczo-Edukacyjne Brama w Gorce

This educational center in Waksmund is a nature park with three observation levels that provide views over Gorce National Park and the mountains beyond. It combines forest pathways with learning exhibitions and includes access to underground spaces.

The name comes from a local word meaning gateway, reflecting how the site sits between different natural zones. Visitors encounter displays about mountain shepherds and rural life through reconstructed buildings and exhibition spaces.

The site is open daily and visitors can walk marked trails through the forest at their own pace, with routes covering considerable distances. Sturdy footwear and weather protection are important since mountain conditions can change quickly.

An underground tunnel system beneath the forest floor allows visitors to see geological structures and hidden animal habitats up close. This subterranean network reveals the natural systems hidden beneath the mountain landscape.
