Termas de Chajarí, Thermal water park in Chajarí, Argentina
Termas de Chajarí is a thermal water park spanning a large area with eleven heated pools, temperatures ranging from 32 to 40 degrees Celsius. The site also features a competition-size pool, children's areas, and a Nature Interpretation Center.
The thermal water was tapped from deep underground in August 2000, and the park opened about a year later. The discovery of this natural heat source made the development of this leisure complex possible.
The site draws people interested in exploring the regional environment and observing local bird species alongside native plants. The place connects relaxation with learning about the natural surroundings and local ecology.
The complex is open daily to visitors and features changing rooms, showers, and restaurants throughout the grounds. Facilities for people with limited mobility and massage services are available on-site.
Some pools feature underwater lighting and hydrojets, which makes the bathing experience special. One covered pool maintains consistent temperatures between 36 and 41 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
