Fall of Atlantis Show is a free fountain performance inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The display uses moving figures, fire bursts, and tall water jets arranged around a Roman-style setting with marble columns.
The attraction opened in the early 1990s as part of the Forum Shops project that brought Roman-themed shopping into Caesars Palace. The mechanical effects were designed by people who later worked on props and costumes for large adventure films.
Many visitors watch the speaking statues and then invent their own dialogue when the voices become hard to hear over the water. Standing by the adjacent saltwater tank afterward becomes a quiet pause shared by families and shoppers.
The show runs many times a day, so stopping by without a reservation is easy. Since the area is indoors but open near shops, arriving a few minutes early helps you find a good spot away from the busiest section.
A winged dragon figure around 20 feet tall appears during the performance, but many people do not notice the saltwater tank holding more than 300 fish right beside the stage. The dragon's sudden movement often startles first-time viewers even though it repeats every hour.
