Fountains of Bellagio, Water feature at Las Vegas Strip, US
The Fountains of Bellagio is a large water display with over 1000 jets spreading across about 1000 feet in front of the Bellagio Hotel. The system uses a complex network of pumps and controls to choreograph the water movements into coordinated patterns.
The fountain complex was built as part of the Bellagio Hotel development in the 1990s and introduced significant advances in water engineering at that time. The project set new standards for technical water effects in large entertainment venues.
Each performance combines precise water choreography with musical selections ranging from classical compositions to modern pop hits, reflecting Las Vegas entertainment traditions.
The water shows run throughout the day at regular intervals and become more frequent as evening approaches. The best viewing spot is from the street in front of the hotel, where you get a clear view of the entire display.
The water jets shoot to considerable heights and the system uses large amounts of water per show, making it one of the most resource-intensive displays of its kind. Visitors are often surprised by how forceful and precise each individual nozzle operates.
