The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Entertainment theatre at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, United States.
The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is a performance hall inside the Caesars Palace hotel in Las Vegas, built for concerts and large entertainment productions. The stage opening measures around 120 feet across, and the seating holds about 4,100 people, all positioned close enough to see and hear performances clearly.
The theater opened in early 2003 and replaced an older performance space in the same hotel. Since then it has regularly welcomed international stars for long concert series that run for weeks or months.
The venue takes its name from the Roman amphitheater and now hosts performances by international singers and entertainment productions. Many guests visit specifically for extended concert series by famous artists who perform here over weeks or months at a time.
Performances take place in the evening, and tickets can be purchased online ahead of time or directly at the theater. The entrance is inside the casino hotel, and it helps to arrive early to get oriented without rushing.
The stage area is supported by sound panels and a very large video screen that displays images during the show. This technical setup makes every seat in the house a good spot for sound and view.
