The Forum Shops at Caesars, Luxury shopping center at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, United States.
The Forum Shops is a shopping center at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, extending across a large area with marble floors, Roman statues, and fountains throughout. The space houses over 160 retail stores and restaurants within a classical Roman-inspired setting.
The shopping center opened in 1992 and changed Las Vegas retail by bringing high-end shopping to casino properties. This opened the way for casinos to develop as major shopping destinations alongside their gaming operations.
The design draws from ancient Roman marketplaces, with detailed murals, classical columns, and painted ceilings showing Mediterranean skies. Visitors walk through these classical elements as they shop, experiencing the feeling of an ancient gathering space.
The shopping center is open daily and offers parking along with direct access from both the Las Vegas Strip and Caesars Palace. Allow plenty of time to explore the various shops and restaurants, as the area is quite large.
A striking feature is the Festival Fountain, where mechanical figures dance and interact to music throughout the day during scheduled shows. These performances have made shopping here something beyond a typical retail experience.
