The property opened in 1977 as the Maxim Hotel and Casino, founded by ten Nevada entrepreneurs. After renovation, it reopened in 2003 under new ownership and management, taking on its current identity.

The hotel embodies Las Vegas hospitality through its combination of accommodations, gaming floors, and entertainment spaces. Visitors experience the blend of casino culture and upscale services that define the city's character.
