Elara, High-rise building near Planet Hollywood Resort, Las Vegas, US
Elara is a 50-story tower on the Las Vegas Strip featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a modern glass facade at East Harmon Avenue. The building offers over 1,200 rooms and units arranged across its height with a distinct lobby area separate from the main casino floor below.
Construction of the tower began in 2006 and was completed in 2009 under the initial management of Westgate Resorts. The opening marked an expansion of accommodation capacity on the Strip with contemporary design standards.
The tower functions as both a hotel and timeshare property, reflecting Las Vegas's dual identity as a tourist destination and residential community.
Entry is through a private entrance separate from the main casino area, allowing direct access to resort amenities and elevators. Guests can navigate distinct zones based on whether they occupy standard hotel rooms or timeshare units.
The building combines two distinct accommodation types within the same structure: some spaces operate as standard hotel rooms while others function as timeshare ownership units. This dual arrangement creates different experiences under one roof depending on where guests are staying.
