The Mandalay Bay Tram is an automated cable transportation system that connects three major casino hotels via an elevated steel guideway. The service operates on two separate tracks and carries passengers between Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay Resort.

The contract with DCC Doppelmayr Cable Car was signed on September 2, 1998, and the Cable Liner Shuttle was completed in April 1999 after only nine months, at a cost of US$16 million. It opened on April 9, 1999, linking the Tropicana–Las Vegas Boulevard intersection with Mandalay Bay via Excalibur and Luxor. In its first year the system carried about 21 million passengers.

The tram's cars carry the Mandalay Bay name and a wave logo, and the train design was patented by the Mandalay Bay Group after being filmed for television commercials. Riding it is free, and the two side-by-side tracks work differently: one stops at all four stations, the other runs express between Mandalay Bay and Excalibur.
