Arc de Triomphe is a scaled-down replica of the Paris monument standing in front of the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on the Strip. It has carved stone-like surfaces and tall open arches, with a busy traffic circle passing directly beneath it.
The replica opened with the Paris Las Vegas resort in 1999, part of a wave of themed hotels that brought European landmarks to the Strip. Its design simplified the Parisian original to fit a casino setting and a hotel entrance rather than a public square.
The arch serves as a photo marker for visitors moving between casinos, often paired with glimpses of the nearby Eiffel Tower copy. Its French-style carvings read differently in the Nevada desert, where neon and traffic surround them at all hours.
The sidewalk along the Strip offers the simplest view, since the roadway around the arch stays filled with cars and shuttle vans. Early morning or late evening brings fewer crowds and easier spots for a photo without blocking walkers.
Unlike the Paris original, cars drive straight through this arch as part of the hotel’s check-in loop, so the monument doubles as traffic furniture. Airport shuttle drivers use the small space around it for tight turns, making the base a poor place to linger.
