Las Vegas Strip Circuit, Racing circuit in southeast Las Vegas, US
The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is a temporary street circuit in the southeastern part of Las Vegas, Nevada, built on public city roads. The course runs past casinos and hotel towers, with 17 turns and a long straight section along the famous Strip.
Las Vegas had hosted motorsport events for many years before this street circuit was built in 2023 to bring Formula 1 racing to the city. It is the third race held in the United States during that season, following Austin and Miami.
The race runs at night, which gives the course a particular look: neon lights from casinos and hotels reflect off the asphalt. Spectators follow the cars from stands, balconies, and viewing areas placed along the route.
The race takes place once a year, so it is worth checking dates well in advance before planning a visit. Since the track runs on public roads, expect major road restrictions throughout the race weekend.
The entire pit lane and team facilities area was built on a parking lot that was purchased specifically for the race. After the weekend is over, the track is dismantled and the streets return to normal city life.
