Beit Sabée
Beit Sabée is a small guesthouse with three stories on the West Bank of Luxor, built in a traditional style using mud bricks. It has 15 rooms decorated in Nubian colors with local furnishings, each with its own bathroom, and offers rooftop views of the nearby desert and the archaeological site of Medinet Habu.
Luxor has been a center for trade and culture for centuries in Egypt. Beit Sabée fits into this setting as a simple yet meaningful structure, reflecting the traditional building practices that have long been part of this region.
The name Beit Sabée means "House of Sabée" in the local language and reflects the region's layered past. Guests experience daily life in the countryside near Luxor, where traditional building methods and local customs remain part of the everyday rhythm.
The location is easily reached from different parts of Luxor using taxis or tuk-tuks and serves as a practical base for the main attractions. Breakfast is included with your stay, and the owners can prepare lunch or dinner on request and offer recommendations for nearby restaurants within walking distance.
Many guests choose this guesthouse as a perfect starting point for a traditional Nile boat trip on a Dahabia sailing vessel. Its quiet location between rural farms and archaeological sites makes it an ideal place to unwind after busy days of visiting temples and ancient ruins.
