CLYMB Abu Dhabi is an indoor adventure park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, housing two main attractions under one roof. One side holds a very wide indoor skydiving wind tunnel, and the other holds one of the tallest indoor climbing walls in the world.
The center opened in 2019 as part of a broader push to develop Yas Island into a leisure destination. At its opening, it set two world records at the same time, one for the widest wind tunnel and one for the tallest climbing wall within an indoor complex.
The center offers dedicated sessions for women and families, which reflects a common practice in Abu Dhabi of reserving certain time slots for specific groups. The climbing wall has routes suited to very different skill levels, so both beginners and practiced climbers use it on any given day.
Wearing comfortable, close-fitting clothing is recommended for both activities, as equipment is worn on top. Staff run a briefing before each activity starts, so no prior experience is needed to take part.
The wind tunnel is wide enough for multiple people to fly at the same time, which sets it apart from most indoor skydiving facilities elsewhere. This means small groups can share the experience together rather than waiting for a solo turn.
