Plane Grove Sanctuary

Plane Grove Sanctuary is a nature reserve located in Syunik Province in Armenia. The area features varied landscape with different plant communities and animal populations distributed across the protected land.

The sanctuary was founded in 1958 as an effort to protect natural land with ecological value across Armenia. This decision was part of a wider national program to safeguard forest and wilderness areas.
