Casey Palace, Victorian palace in Recoleta, Argentina
The Casey Palace features a combination of exposed brick and stone-like facades, with tall windows and decorative pinnacles across its structure.
Eduardo Casey, an Irish landowner who accumulated wealth in Argentina, commissioned American architect Carlos Ryder to build this palace in 1889.
The palace currently houses the National Commission of Monuments, serving as a center for the preservation of Argentine cultural heritage.
Located at 1690 Alvear Avenue, the building contains four floors connected by an elevator, with multiple halls available for administrative functions.
The palace entrance displays a carved lion above its main door, while the interior maintains its original Victorian architectural elements from the 1880s.
